Talents!

My girls saw this blog and really wanted me to post some pictures of them doing what they do best....so here are some pix of Hailey, who loves tumbling. She's been going to a great place now for about 6 months and has learned front hand springs and back walkovers, hand stands, front walkovers, cartwheels and is now trying to get your back handsping learned.

Abby learned to ride her bike when we first moved into our house in February and just got a new bike for her birthday in August. So I have pix of her riding her bike!

Everything else is well with us...Abby and Joe are feeling better and back to themselves and it was nice to go to church yesterday, having missed a few weeks with conference and visiting Dave and Lynette in Wyoming for Mary's blessing.

Sick Kids

This blogging thing is soooooo cool! Thanks to Darren and Traci for getting me writing on the Johnson family page and to my sister-in-law Steph for pushing me into doing my own page and helping me through the hoops....your awesome!

My kids are sooo sick, well just Joe and Abby. Abby came home from school Wednesday with a high fever and sore throat. The crazy thing is I went to her class that morning and she told me she didn't feel good and I thought she was just trying to come home and was getting a little homesick, because she does that. So I felt so terrible when she came home from school that sick! What a terrible mom I am! She's doing much better today, no fever but still a little sore throat and pale looking.

Last night was the worst night ever! Joe woke up at 10:30 p.m. with a fever and cried for one hour straight. It wasn't until Dan put "Cars" in that he calmed somewhat. He was like this most of the night and even with medicine was hot and really cranky. About 3:30 a.m., he threw up everywhere! We gave him a bath and he calmed down and finally fell asleep about an hour later. Dan and I are so tired!

I hate it when my kids are sick! Yesterday was a pajama day, looks like today will be another one.

Pumpkins!

Rachel and I went on a fun little field trip with her preschool last week. I hardly ever get time to spend with just my Rae! We took with us a little boy named Justin in our neighborhood and Rachel loved that. She's so boy crazy. The two of them giggled together the whole way down to Thanksgiving Points Cornbelly Maze and Pumpkin Patch. They had to sit together in the back seat, it was cute! When we got there the kids lined up and it was fun to see all the kids who are part of Shelly's preschool. We then took off to watch a little movie about corn and then it was off to the slides. The kids had so much fun going down these giant slides. We went on a hayride and picked a cute little pumpkin from the pumpkin patch and then we went back and played on the slides some more. It was a cute place and reminded me of the pumpkin patches in Oregon, although there is no comparison. I'm missing Oregon right now :( Anyway, I had so much fun with my sweet Rae!
