SURPRISE!!!
LoL! Let me tell you the story...
I was NOT going to find out what we were having, but as you know, we have a full house. We have two rooms to paint and kids to situate and there is just no way I could do that without finding out what this baby was going to be. So, that is my reasoning. However, 3 of our 4 kids didn't want to know what it was. I know that just seems weird and crazy and you're all chomping at the bit, but hey, it's my baby ;) I can do whatever I want...lol! So, we are keeping this little secret to ourselves until this little one is born.
The other day Hailey told me that if this baby is a girl...it will be just one more sister to fight with...lol! Rachel wants a girl to dress-up and Joe is praying for a boy. Abby wants a boy, because Joe needs a BRO. So...I think it will be great for these kids to just wait and see!

I love ultrasound pics, cute! I'm so happy you aren't telling your kids or people and because of it I fully expect you to be the one to beat people up next time around for me when they give me a hard time when I don't want to tell them. I can't wait to find out what it is.
Also I want to talk to you about a baby shower. I know you're not finding out and it's your 5th but all the more reason to get together and celebrate since it's been a long time since your last one, what do you think? We can talk about it more when we go out for the movie next week.
It'll be fun to see what the surprise is when it's born. =) I would never be able to keep it a secret.
What??? Does Melanie know?? Cause if Melanie knows Im gonna bribe her with her favorite desert!I love that the kids want it to be a surprise. But how do you do that I cant keep my mouth shut for the life of me! Congrats on which ever, your such an amazing Mommy!

Can't wait to find out. good luck keeping it a secret, I'd be TERRIBLE at it. you can't even say he/she if you slip you are in big trouble!! :) Wish I could keep my eye on you closer, but you are probably a safe distance away from me!! Congrats!!
Just remember Jen that we had all 4kids in one room for over 2 years and I think we all kind of liked it!! The kids liked being together and reading in bed to each other. And I liked talking to them and reading to them all together while they layed in bed. Those are fun memories. Two sets of bunkbeds makes it work pretty slick. The hike looks fun!! So glad you could do that as a fam. And I loved hearing about your family reunion. How cool!! You come from good roots and it is neat to hear about it and how much you love them. My Grandparents had 8 kids and all their kids had lots of kids so when we get together at Christmas and in the summer it is HUGE. Everytime it overwhelms me the heritage I come from and how two people can bring so many together in such a huge wonderful family.
How fun for you! I loved being surprised with both of my girls, it's so fun to see all the reaction and everything. Yeah for you guys! :) The pics are darling! :) Good luck getting all ready for the little one.
