Not Impressed...

So, am I the only one who was NOT impressed with the new "Twilight" movie? It was almost painful to watch...actually it seemed Edward was in pain. It made me...oh, what's Stephanie Meyer's favorite word...GRIMACE. Course, I guess he kind of was in pain, but I don't know, I just didn't think it would be that painful to watch (pun-da-dum-dum). I was expecting Mike (the kid with the crush on Bella), to be much more good looking, not such a doofus. Carlisle and Jasper were also not what I expected as well. I envisioned Carlisle as being sort of Italian or Greek but not Baywatch blonde...ew. I also pictured Jasper differently as well. I don't know how, he was just not what I thought he would be. I thought that Kristen Stewart was great as Bella! I loved Alice! I wasn't too impressed with Edward though. I mean, I didn't find him dreamy, but then again, maybe we all just have different "types". What did you think?
I don't know, maybe I need to see it again, just to be sure...

I had mixed feelings when I first saw it too. Edward was def. not "eye candy" as most people say. It took awhile for him to grow on me, but even then he wasn't gorgeous. I think they did a great job picking Alice and Bella! Emmett and Rosalie were good too, the rest were ok...not what I pictured, but ok. I still think Edward was the most disappointing. Jacob was cuter than him, and I'm not even a Jacob fan. also, don't know if you noticed, but it bugged me how some of the lines weren't the same as in the book- I was like "hey they didn't say it like that!" I thought the baseball scene was pretty cool and liked the song- which, besides the lullaby, was the only song i liked in the whole movie. I saw it a 2nd time and liked it better. I hope the second one is better...and longer! so they can fit more stuff in. I'm glad i read the book so I was filled in on all the details or i woulda been missin out on a whole lot. =)

OH . . . MY . . . GOSH . . . I've heard others like you who didn't LOVE the movie, but I am not one of them!!! In fact, I would be more than happy to go see it with you for your second time, but only if you're going to LOVE it as much as I do! :) I've seen it, well, let's say, more than once--and it's been better each time, even though I LOVED it the first time. So, needless to say (again)--but I will because even thinking about it makes me giddy--I LOVED THE MOVIE!!! :)
