Happy Birthday Dan!

For Dan's birthday he wanted to visit his brother Dave and wife Lynette and go to the Bar J Restraunt in Wyoming. We drove up Friday morning and left the young kids with a babysitter while Dave, Lynette, Annie, Meg, Dan, Me, Hailey and Abby headed off to Jackson Hole and the Bar J restaraunt. This is a very cool place! I wish I had pictures to post but of course, I forgot my camera! We all order what we want and sit down on the long tables. Then when each table is dismissed we go out of the main building assembly line style and give our ticket as to what we want and they dish it up. There are only a handful of choices, chicken or beef...LOL. We go back to our place and eat and visit with everyone around us. Then the music begins and these cowboys who run the ranch during the day put on their instruments and sing and joke and it is so much fun! This ranch has been going for about 30 years or so. We had a ball.

We spent Saturdayhanging out with D & L and their family. The kids love playing together! They were up early (like 5:30 a.m.) and played until their tired little bodies wouldn't allow it anymore! We checked out D & L's new beautiful home! They spoiled us with good food and lots of fun conversation and as we left today we talked about how wonderful it was to visit them and how much we miss them and talked the whole way home! We love you guys! Thank you sooooo much for all the fun!

Dan's favorite...Chocolate Cake..YUM and the kids helped him blow it out!


The country was beautiful! The hills were on fire with all of the leaves changing color. We took pictures of all these sheep being herded. It was quite the sight!
