Unexpected Expenses...

Don't we just love life! I am counting my blessings right now, grateful we have a job and home and that we aren't in debt because this month has been so crazy and it's not even half over! Our van hit a huge rock back in February when we were traveling to see family in Wyoming and it hasn't been the same since! We just took it back in because it would shake really bad when you reached 55 mph. Come to find out the tires are in horrible shape and that's the biggest reason, but we had to pay the mechanic to take everything apart just to tell us that! So that was $500 later. Dan bought a car last month only to have $900 worth of repairs to be done on that! Well, Hailey informed me a few weeks ago that her tooth hurt, so I look in her mouth to find a black hole in between two teeth! Can I just say I HATE CANDY! No, wait, I really love it but I HATE IT! So I buy Hailey's candy off of her...last week. Well last night I pull out her bag of candy to find a few pieces left! She had snuck into all of her candy AFTER I had paid her for it! Man was she in trouble! So we go to the dentist, no dental insurance because we're...stupid (sorry kids, bad words!) and come out $500 later. She ended up needing a root canal! Are you feeling stressed just reading this?! So, we're broke! We went Christmas shopping last weekend, with a budget and had so much fun, but after all these expenses we're seriously living off of beans this month! I hate being an adult sometimes. I do feel bad though because Hailey felt so bad about the cost of it all, but I just told her she can help by taking care of her teeth and not to worry, she's much better than most kids with her first cavity being at age 9. Anyway, this has been a horrible day, but good thing there's tomorrow!
